Rhodium(III) chloride recovery_ Rhodium chloride recovery_ Precious metal catalyst recycling manufacturer

Rhodium chloride (RhCl3), also known as rhodium trichloride, is an inorganic compound composed of rhodium and chlorine. It is the chloride of platinum group metal rhodium and has important chemical and catalytic properties. Rhodium chloride is a black crystal whose structure can be described as a three-dimensional network structure composed of regular octahedral [RhCl6]3- ions. Waste rhodium chloride is a recyclable rhodium-containing precious metal catalyst waste. The recycling of rhodium-containing precious metal catalyst waste also includes rhodium oxide recycling, rhodium salt recycling, rhodium acetate recycling, rhodium hydride recycling, rhodium iodide recycling, rhodium carbon recycling, etc.

Rhodium chloride (RhCl3), also known as Rhodium(III) chloride, is a Inorganic compound composed of rhodium and chlorine. It is a chloride of Platinum group rhodium and has important chemical and catalytic properties. Rhodium chloride is a black crystal, and its structure can be described as a three-dimensional network structure composed of [RhCl6] 3-ions of Regular octahedron. This structure allows rhodium chloride to have good solubility in solution and can react with other compounds.

Rhodium chloride can be prepared through various methods. The following is one of the commonly used preparation methods:

    1. Chlorination of rhodium metal: Firstly, it is necessary to prepare rhodium metal with sufficient purity. React rhodium metal with chlorine gas to generate rhodium chloride. The reaction can take place at high temperatures, usually between 600C and 800C. The Chemical equation of the reaction is as follows: 2Rh+3Cl22RhCl3.

    2. Reduction of rhodium chloride: Rhodium chloride can be prepared by reducing rhodium chloride. A common reducing agent is Sodium bisulfite (NaHSO3). Firstly, dissolve rhodium chloride in water to form a rhodium chloride solution. Then, add an appropriate amount of Sodium bisulfite solution for reaction. The Chemical equation of the reaction is as follows: RhCl3+3NaHSO3+H2O Rh+3HCl+3NaHSO4.

    3. Rhodium chloride reduction method: ammonium chloride (NH4Cl) or Copper(I) chloride (CuCl) and other chlorides can be used as reducing agents to prepare rhodium chloride. Firstly, dissolve rhodium chloride in a solvent, then add an appropriate amount of reducing agent and react at an appropriate temperature. The Chemical equation of the reaction is as follows: RhCl3+3NH4Cl Rh+3HCl+3NH4Cl.

Waste rhodium chloride is a recyclable precious metal catalyst waste containing rhodium. The recovery of precious metal catalyst waste containing rhodium includes rhodium oxide recovery, rhodium salt recovery, rhodium acetate recovery, rhodium hydride recovery, rhodium iodide recovery, rhodium carbon recovery, etc. If you have any demand for rhodium containing waste recycling, please call our 24-hour service hotline.
